Beyond darkness, blackout fabrics add a layer of insulation that helps keep heat out in summer and in during winter. We offer blackout as a roller or zebra blind, so you get the darkness without giving up the style you want.
For the darkest possible result we fit the blind close to the glass and add side and sill channels to catch light that would otherwise leak around the edges.

The fabric itself is opaque; the small gaps at the sides are where light leaks. With side channels or a fascia we get very close to total darkness.
